Life, am I right!
We all know that there are times when there is just too much on the plate. And taking something off, even if it is something that brings you joy, is the best way to manage that season of life.
That is how the past two years have felt for me, but it wasn’t until this last year that I allowed myself the grace to know I couldn’t do or be it all. With two military moves and numerous trips to our home state to spend time with my family, creating had to be put on pause. And honestly, I am so glad that I did that.
The past two years my daughter and I have spent so much time with my parents and our other family and friends in Washington State, creating memories I am beyond thankful for. Now we are getting settled in our new home, in a new state, finding a new groove.
So often we hear that we just have to push through, to not pause, but I want to remind you to listen to what your heart and mind are saying. Don’t spread yourself too thin. And that give yourself space to breathe.
Slowly but surely I am finding my creative footing again and I am excited to be in a place where I am mindful of my own creative journey and not just feeling like I am going through the motions.
I love you!! Can’t wait to see what you make next ❤️
Jessie, so glad to see your back and you are creating. Giving GRACE to yourself is so important, I tend to push through and sometimes wished I hadn’t. Wishing you all the BEST in WA. Wonderful place to be. I thought it was going to be our forever home. but my husband had different ideas, Oklahoma, not the same but like it just the same.
PEACE and BLESSINGS,
Jenn
